This the second time I have taken the car to Schaeffer automotive, and again absolutely impressive all across the board, (a tranny flush and filter in my 323i beams ), and even though I had failed to mention possibly checking the differential bell housing fluid, they had already done that and topped it off with fluid, and for the first time in decades of cross country driving, they were below the estimate, my car and myself thank the entire crew! According to CBS News, Ford recently announced a recall that affects over 1.3 million vehicles that are primarily located in North America. The recall was issued mainly due to problems with rear suspension and transmission control software.

My wife and I recently visited the Jasper area for a couple of days with plans to take our kids to Holiday World. The evening we arrived into town I noticed an issue with our car, and suspecting it was the alternator. I drove straight to Schaeffer's, and within 5 minutes Clint was already working on my vehicle. Though I think many other places out there would have used my situation as an opportunity to price gouge, the cost of the repair was more than fair and Clint had me back on the road within an hour. Aside from this unique situation, I was impressed by the cleanliness of this shop and it puts my local mechanic's shop to shame! The diagnostic test confirmed it was my alternator and luckily they had it in stock. However, being from out-of-town and scheduled to be at Holiday World within 3 hours, I was in a tight spot. The employee at Autozone called Clint at Schaeffer Automotive to explain the situation and Clint agreed to take me in right away. I drove straight to Schaeffer's and within 5 minutes Clint was already working on my vehicle.
